Achieving new heights...
I started the new year in the Bahamas looking after S/Y Good Life. From the Caribbean, I ventured further south to close out the spring season by experiencing the sights and sounds of Peru and Bolivia. In particular, Peru's Sacred Valley and Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia where I visited the world's largest salt flats. In April I traveled to Kathmandu via Delhi with a plan to trek to Mount Everest base camp at an altitude of 5364m. This is the staging area for climbing expeditions to the summit of Mount Everest. The remainder of the year was spent exploring Canada with visits to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, and Bella Coola, British Columbia where I photographed the iconic grizzly bear during salmon spawning season on the Atnarko river in Tweedsmuir South Provincial Park.
