A very busy travel year...
I started the new year in the Caribbean spending time in Cuba and the Bahamas. Mid-summer I traveled to the African continent and visited South Africa and Namibia. It was there that I focused on photographing some of the continent's iconic landscapes and wildlife. In early fall I traveled to Mongolia with planned excursions to the Altai region of western Mongolia to photograph Kazakh eagle hunters. From the Altai, I ventured northeasterly to Mongolia's Taiga region to photograph Tsaatan reindeer herders. I spent part of October photographing the amazing landscapes of the Tuscan region of Italy and ended the travel year with a trip to Japan to capture some of Japan's breathtaking streetscapes.
