Travel Interrupted
The second half of 2025 began like any other—hot summer days, shifting weather patterns, and evolving travel plans. Then, in an instant, everything changed. The weather no longer mattered, time seemed to freeze, and we were hit with devastating family health news. As 2025 drew to a close, we faced even more adversity when Robin was diagnosed with cancer.
Once the diagnosis was confirmed, chemo and radiation treatments anchored us close to home well into the first half of 2026, making it a year of staying local.
Thankfully, with significant progress on the treatment front, we’re now looking ahead to brighter moments later in 2026. A trip to the UK in September to visit Drew, Paige, and extended family, followed by a long‑awaited journey to New Zealand, will close out our travel year on a hopeful note.
